The risk in a payroll migration is not the software. It is the single day, every month, on which several hundred people expect to be paid correctly.
Run one full month in parallel
Process a complete cycle in both systems and compare the results line by line, not in total. Totals can match while two errors cancel each other out.
Reconcile to the laari, then investigate
Every difference is worth understanding, including the ones in your favour. A rounding rule that differs by a few laari per employee is a rule that is configured wrong, and it will not stay small.
Decide what history you actually need
Migrating years of detail is expensive and usually unnecessary. Balances, entitlements and enough payslip history to satisfy your retention obligations is normally the right line — confirm which obligations apply to you before you draw it.
